Refund policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date. To initiate a return, you must provide either the original emailed receipt or use the email address associated with the original order.

  • To be eligible for a refund or exchange, returned items must be in like-new condition and include all original packaging, accessories, and contents. Items that show signs of damage, misuse, or missing packaging or contents are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

  • All returns must be authorized with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by the Koti team. Returns received without an RMA number will be refused.

  • All returned items are subject to inspection before a refund or exchange is approved. Inspections may take up to 5 business days to complete.

  • Approved exchange items will only be shipped to the original shipping address associated with the order.  

  • Approved refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used for the purchase. Refunds will be issued for the original purchase amount paid, less any applicable restocking fees.

  • Items purchased as open box, like new, or near perfect condition are not eligible for return or exchange. However, they are still covered against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the delivery date.

  • Any return or exchange request that does not fall under the Shipping Damage or Defective Items policy is subject to a 20% restocking fee. This fee helps cover the costs of shipping, inspection, and refurbishment.

Shipping damage

Koti advises all customers to inspect incoming packages received from Koti upon receipt to ensure there is no shipping damage.  

  • If a package is received with shipping damage, you must contact us within two business days to report the damage.  The team here at Koti will work with our shipping provider to file a claim for damaged goods on your behalf.

Defective Items

We pride ourselves in producing and providing unique and high quality items for our customers.  If you receive an item that is defective, please contact our team within 30 days of the delivery date.

  • For defective items, Koti will provide a prepaid return shipping label.

  • Once our team receives your defective item, we will inspect and test the item.  Inspections can take up to 5 business days to complete.

    • Upon completion of our inspection process, any items found to be defective and free of damage or signs of misuse will be exchanged for a new item, free of charge.  You will be provided with a new tracking number for the exchange.

    • If any items that are claimed to be defective are received with obvious signs of abuse or misuse, your claim will be voided.

      • If your claim is voided, you may choose to have the item shipped back to you at your expense or receive a discount on a new item.

    • If any items that are claimed to be defective are tested and found to be not be defective, our team will provide evidence of the findings and you may choose to have us ship the item to you at your expense or receive a discount on a new item.
